PLEASE NOTE FOREST EDGE ARENA AND OFFICE ARE CLOSED ON MONDAYS

The Cross Country jumps are now in use and the first event was a great success.  I have lost count of the number of fences which have appeared, somewhere in the region of 40 at last count!  The course can be changed with several portable jumps as well as the exciting permanent jumps, which include The 4-way Pit, The Grave, 2-way Sunken Road, The Grand Canyon, stone wall, brushes, logs, ditches, tyres etc.  A water jump and log drop are also planned for later this year. 

The MARSHALL TOYOTA ARCH allows competitors to jump through from the outside arena to the Cross Country Course, providing an extra challenge in the Derby's.  Marshall Toyota of Kings Lynn are generously providing sponsorship for the Cross Country Course.  They have a number of  fantastic deals and promotions available for Forest Edge Competitors with £500 off the price of new & used cars & special servicing deals.  They will be happy to arrange a test drive & discuss any vehicle requirements you may have.

HOLT SADDLERY will be attending most of our shows this summer with a great variety of Equestrian and Country products to tempt you.  Anything they haven't got with them, they are happy to order for you at very competitive prices. 

THE INDOOR SURFACE IS NOW COMPLETED WITH AN ANDREWS BOWEN PRO-WAX SURFACE.  THIS SURFACE IS THE BEST AVAILABLE AND IS USED AT THE HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW, N IRELAND INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW, THE BRITISH OPEN SHOWJUMPING CHAMPIONSHIPS AND MANY OTHER PRESTIGIOUS CENTRES.  The benefits of changing to this surface will be a consistant, secure, dust-free surface, supporting the horses natural movement and reducing repetative strain injury.  It will allow us to hold a greater variety and higher standard of competitions.

A  new 40 x 20m surfaced (pro-wax) practice arena is also complete and ready for use and the new standing and spectator areas are also finished. 

We have used some of the original indoor surface to provide the basis for a purpose made, 100 x 45 mt grass arena on the far side of the indoor arena, complete with Derby Bank!.  The arena has now been levelled, stone-picked, and seeded and will be regularly watered & cut, providing a grass arena  which we can keep in a top class condition. 

The indoor toilets and showers have now been completed.   Thank you for your patience while this was carried out.   We will also be completing  the landscaping in several areas, as well as generally continuing to improve the facilities for your enjoyment.
