**WE WILL BE GOING AHEAD WITH THE INDOOR EVENTER TRIAL TODAY, CAR PARK IS FINE, PRACTICE ARENA IS OK TO WALK ROUND BUT ALL PRACTICE JUMPING WILL BE INDOORS BEFORE EACH CLASS STARTS.  PLENTY OF HOT FOOD AND DRINKS READY!**

Well done to all the class winners last weekend, we had 3 fantastic days of jumping with Juniors from all over the country, Cheshire, Hampshire, Surrey & Nottingham! It was great to see so many new faces joining us.

Its your chance to qualify for the Blue Chip Indoor Eventer Trial Championship 0n 26th Feb this Saturday 4th Feb!  Come and join us in the arena for some great fun over 8 showjumps and 7 beautifully decorated rustic jumps, one round against the clock, first 6 to qualify excluding those already qualified.  There is a list of those of you already qualified on the results page.

Spillers Unaffiliated Dressage on Wednesday 8th Feb, fab prizes plus qualify for The Championships here on 3rd March and Trailblazers 2nd rounds on 17th March with percentage scores of 58% and above.  British Dressage on Wed 15th Feb, Prelim-Elementary judged by Judy Hancock, dont forget you dont need to be a BD member or get a ticket for a Prelim non-qualifier.

We are pleased to welcome British Eventing who will be holding a Pre-season Jump Clinic here on Saturday 25th February.  Coaches are Tiny Clapham and Charlotte Bathe and entries can be made via Fiona Saxby at www.britisheventing.com/jumptraining There is a series schedule and details on our schedule page.  There is an Indoor Eventer Trial on the next day, why not make a weekend of it and stay with your horse Saturday night for £20 each, phone 01760 722616 to book a stable.

Well, what an amazing show the Pre-Olympia Senior British Showjumping Show turned out to be!  256 horses competed over the 3 days of 9/10/11 December with jumping starting at 9am each morning and finishing at 11pm, 11.45pm and 7pm.  There was some incredible jumping over David Coles challenging courses from riders coming from all over the country and the atmosphere was electric.  The six-bar on Saturday evening saw the last part going up to 1.71m!  The Grand Prix was won by Laura Renwick and Beluga on Sunday.  Full results are on the results page.

A huge thank you to everybody involved in the Pre-Olympia show, Competitors, Officials, Sponsors, Cafe and Arena staff  and all the Forest Edge team. 

The dates are now available for events up to the end of March.  Jan-March schedules now on the schedule download page.  April to June dates will be out very soon, watch for details.  The Cross Country Course will reopen during April and details will be out with the dates list.

We are delighted to announce that RANDS & WILSON FEEDS & BLUE CHIP FEEDS have very generously agreed to sponsor the winter ShowJumping & Eventer Trial series again this year, so look out for details of those events.  We will be including the Pony Club Dengie qualifiers in the Rands & Wilson events as last year.

SPILLERS FEEDS have very kindly agreed to sponsor our Winter Unaffiliated Dressage Series, qualifying dates will be 5/10/11, 26/10/11, 9/11/11, 21/12/11, 11/1/12 & 8/2/12 with the Championship show on Saturday 3rd March.  Scores 58% & above to qualify.  All these shows will also qualify for Trailblazers  and on the 26th Oct & 21st Dec (School hols) there will be qualifying classes for the Pony Club Dengie series.

*NEW* DRESSAGE CLINICS WITH ELIZABETH MILLS, Chef d'Equipe to the British Pony Team, are now being held monthly, a chance to have that important extra lesson before the Dressage events. Our Summer camps with The BHS, Colne Valley RC & Walpole & Dist Pony Club  were a huge sucess and great fun.  They have all booked again for next year and there will be an additional BHS camp in July and a Liz Mills Dressage camp in August.  We are looking at the possibility of holding a family camp in August 2012, please let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions for this.

Private Schooling isavailable in the indoor arena every Thursday 10am-6/8pm over the Winter, pre-booking only. Please always book in at the office before mounting. Please phone before arriving to book a time slot.

PETER KEMP clinics are held monthly, 3-8pm to enable those at school & work to attend.  Peter is a  BSJA Course Designer & judge and has over 50 years experience with horses at all levels.  Clinics will consist of 45 min lessons private £35, pairs £25 each or groups of 3-4 £20 each.  Please book in advance, one horse per rider.  Phone 01760 722616 to book.

TIM PAGE, our leading British Showjumping Young Rider & Olympic hopeful, will be giving monthly showjumping lessons 3-8pm.  Please see the schedule page for dates.  Groups of 3/4 riders, £20 each.  Please book. Next clinic 14th December.
